Health Insurance Help in Dunedin and Nearby Towns
We compare individual, family, dental, vision and accident plans for clients across north Pinellas and the towns around it. You get side-by-side options from multiple carriers and plain answers about how claims work, at our office or by phone and video.

The towns our clients call home
Our office sits in Dunedin, and our clients live up and down this stretch of coast: Clearwater, Palm Harbor, Largo, East Lake and Tarpon Springs, along with Safety Harbor, Oldsmar, Belleair and Harbor Bluffs. We also work with people in Town 'n' Country, just over the Hillsborough line. Since a lot of our meetings take place by phone or video, distance rarely gets in the way. The real questions are which plans are sold at your address and which doctors sit in each network.
We start by asking a few things: your county, who the coverage is for, the doctors and dentists you'd like to keep, and roughly what you spend on care in a year. From there we set the plans side by side, each with its premium, deductible, out-of-pocket maximum and network. The consultation is free. Our pay comes from the carrier behind the plan you pick, so the review adds nothing to your cost.

Local factors that shape your plan
- Prices follow county lines
- Florida sets marketplace premiums by rating area, and those areas follow county boundaries. Two similar-sounding plans can carry different prices and carriers in Oldsmar than in Town 'n' Country, which is why we quote from your actual address.
- Living in one county, seeing doctors in another
- Plenty of residents live in Pinellas and get care in Hillsborough, or live in Hillsborough and get care in Pinellas. A tight HMO network may leave out a specialist you already see, so we search the carrier's directory for each provider by name before you pick a plan.
- When you can sign up
- Florida uses the federal marketplace, so open enrollment runs November 1 through January 15. Outside that window you need a qualifying event such as losing work coverage, moving, marrying or having a baby. Dental, vision and accident plans often follow separate enrollment rules, and we go over the rules for each one.
- Reading your claims
- Following each visit, the carrier sends an explanation of benefits showing what was billed, what the plan allowed and what you owe. We teach you how to read it, what paperwork to keep and how the appeal process works. Every claim decision belongs to the carrier, so we can't promise how it ends, but you'll know what to ask for and what to send in.
